How to Draw a Skull

Step by step

Each picture adds a few lines to the last one. Copy the new lines, then keep going.

Start with a wide curve for the top of the skull. Leave the sides open.

From the left end, add a cheek bump and a short hanging line.

Add the same cheek bump on the right so both sides match.

Connect the hanging lines with a rounded jaw and a soft chin.

Draw a circle for the left eye.

Draw a matching circle for the right eye. Leave room in the middle.

Add a dark pupil in each eye.

Draw a short eyebrow over each eye.

Put a small triangle nose between the eyes.
